The Dodge Grand Caravan gets good fuel efficiency

Vans, even minivans are not exactly known for being fuel efficient vehicles. They offer enough space to transport adults and families comfortably. Once someone owns a van, the extra space for people and cargo becomes comfortable.

Even though the van is not a class of vehicle known for its efficiency, the Dodge Grand Caravan can get up to 25 miles per gallon on the highway. A computer-controlled automatic transmission and a efficiently designed fuel injection system.

Minivans, like the pickup trucks whose engines they often use, fare less well during city driving. Getting 8 miles per gallon in a new vehicle on the highway is something people who are not truck or bus drivers can or should remember. Those days are long gone. The Dodge Grand Caravan averages about 14 miles per gallon in city driving. Filling up the van’s fuel tank should not and does not empty someone’s wallet.
