About the Role

Are you a people person with a knack for building connections and closing deals, but tired of the same old retail grind? Auto Land CDJR is hiring a motivated, high-energy Sales Consultant to join our team in Accident, MD, serving Garrett County and the surrounding tri-state area.

No previous car sales experience is required. We provide full training for the right candidate. If you have the drive, we have the opportunity.

Candidate Requirements

• 2-3+ years of retail, hospitality, or customer service experience.
• Valid driver’s license and a relatively clean driving record.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with basic office tools (Word, Excel); CRM experience is a plus.
• Availability to work occasional Saturdays as part of the regular schedule.

Job Duties

• Lead Management: Actively respond to internet inquiries and phone leads to schedule showroom appointments.
• Customer Needs Analysis: Interview clients to understand their vehicle needs, budget, and lifestyle requirements.
• Product Demonstration: Conduct professional vehicle walk-arounds and lead safe, informative test drives.
• Sales Negotiation: Present pricing and financing options clearly and professionally to reach a mutually beneficial agreement.
• Delivery Excellence: Ensure the vehicle is detailed and ready for the customer and provide a thorough orientation of all vehicle technology and safety features.
• Post-Sale Follow-Up: Maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

We’re looking for a well-rounded professional capable of handling a wide variety of automotive repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately. If you’re a skilled problem-solver who takes pride in delivering high-quality work, we want to hear from you.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven professional experience as an automotive technician or general line mechanic.
• Must possess your own standard set of professional-grade tools.
• Strong working knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic equipment, and repair methods.
• Valid driver’s license and a strong work ethic.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check.
• ASE certifications or previous dealership experience highly preferred, though not strictly required for the right candidate.

Job Duties

• General Maintenance: Perform routine services including brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and tire installations.
• Diagnostics: Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections, utilize diagnostic tools, and troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues.
• General Repair: Execute comprehensive repairs across a variety of vehicle systems on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM, and various pre-owned makes and models.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all repairs are completed to factory and dealership standards while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
